Sweet Sunny Saturday #15 | The List You Don't Want to Miss

Let’s see what goodies are ready for you this week…

#1 I am starting with Kristi this time, because not only this, but week after week, she is writing epic posts and each one is better than the previous one.

I have been using StumbleUpon for a long time, for fun more than self-promotion, but although I have been on it for years, I have never used it to its full potential. That is why we have Kristi, to remind us of the ways to increase traffic with StumbleUpon.

#2 Stella is kicking some serious a$$, at least in my book :) This time she is telling you how to place keywords in your articles for the best SEO.

#3 You know I am a big fan of Fotolia which I use for images on this blog, so I am trying to make sure I learn as much as possible on the topic of image conversions. I know how important they are for my niche sites, where a great image can make sales go over the top.

By paying more attention to image related posts, I made sure not to forget to mention Derek’s great post on how images affect conversions. By the way, I highly recommend following Derek’s blog, he has some great stuff to teach you.

#4 While at images, this post is somewhat related to them, but is about Facebook fan pages. You might want to check this out cause there are so many great possibilities to use this Facebook fan page tweak for great results.

#5 If you are into creating screencasts, you will definitely want to go through this guide to technical screencasts.

#6 I loved this guest post on Smart Passive Income, written by John Corcoran where he explains how to protect your blog’s assets.

#7 While at protecting your money, how about the right way to spend it. I highly support the idea of paying for free info when it makes my life easier. If I need to spend 3 days Googling and researching a topic, I think it is smarter to just buy the book and spend that time being more productive with other tasks.

#8 Another guest post, this time on Youngprepro by Moon – 101 Reasons Your Blog is making 0 Dollars.

#9 There comes a time when you need to outsource some of your work, and here is the complete guide to places where you can find people to hire.

#10 After receiving piles and piles of pitches lately, I am having less and less nerves for low quality and stupid ways people contact me. Here is what Lisa B. had to say about it and I could not agree more with her on the ways to write better pitches.

#11 Here is a funny post to relax you for the weekend. Well, not funny in a bad way, but sure is interesting  :) Which of the 23 blogger breeds are you? by Stephen Guise on Problogger.

#12 I have to promote myself some, so I am reminding you to read the last post – If there was only one book in the world, I wish it was this one.

Please, share this post or give it a +1 on Google so all these posts can get some deserved attention!

  1. I had a busy week so will enjoy reading the list you compiled. I read few already and looking forward to reading the others. Thx!

  2. Every week there is content being released and I’m proud t say I get to read it first..but there are a couple of them here i didn’t get a chance to touch on.

    “Black Seo Guy “Signing Off”

  3. How can I be funny if you are going to be all business and serious all the time? A house and food can really be overrated at times………

I know of Kristi and know she rocks, and need to get more involved. Heaven help her, huh?

Thanks for sharing this wealth of information. I will have to take some time and dig through this.

So good to see you this fine weekend; hope all is well.

  4. Thanks for including me in your list – StumbeUpon is a great network and really pays attention to their brand – they sent me a free t-shirt for that article. :)

    • Brankica says:

Are you for real? OMG, I gotta figure out something good to write then too :)

  5. A nice list of useful articles and I’ve shared it on G+ :)

  6. Hi Brankica,

Sweet list. A thing or two I can check out as well. I’m honoured to be featured amongst your list… we all know Kristi really kicks some tail ;)

  7. Hi Bran:
Thanks for featuring my post on this edition of the “SSS”. There are a lot of interesting titles on the list, that I’ll want to read – I’d only read a handful prior to this list.

#11: 23 blogger breeds got me really LOL (Laughing out Loud), for real.

#12: I’ve read a couple of Dahila’s posts on her blog and WarriorForum and she delivers quality contents on clear, practical steps on “how to” get stuff done, not just “what to do”. I have no doubt that her book would be great, as your review detailed.

    Again, thanks for the feature:)

  8. I always learn from your stuff, Bran. And, I’m now a Fotolia junkie thanks to you! I’m going to make it my first affiliate relationship, I love it so much. Thanks for all this info; I appreciate it!

  9. Stumble is one of the best way to drive long term traffic but I have to say that from last few months it has been spammed like hell by stupid SMO promoters. Most sources are same tagged in different categories and few times your can also find parked domain names on it. People just want to drive traffic and it doesn’t matter what people think about it.

  10. Hello Bankica. I specifically appreciated the post on the screencasts. Really valuable post mention. Then, I was wondering what you call this post when it’s rainy outside? Lol! Or does ‘sunny’ refer to the mood of the post.

    • Brankica says:

You got it, it is the mood, cause I had rain outside at times but that didn’t stop me from seeing this as a sunny post, LOL
