Here is a quick tip my newsletter subscribers received on Saturday. If you wanna get some of the tips early, subscribe to my newsletter.
The other day, I told you about a neat Firefox add-on called SEO blogger. It is a free tool from Wordtracker, a great keyword research and analysis tool.
Today, I am going to tell you about a great way to see what your target market needs help with.
We all know that content is the king. Well, did you think about what is good content? It is the answer to a question someone might need, a solution for a problem.
To determine what problems and questions our target market has, we do a lot of things. Follow Twitter trends, ask other bloggers, we guess…
Well, how about doing a little research using another free tool from Wordtracker?
Research Keyword Questions!
Let’s say you wanna write a post about WordPress but you are not sure what people need help with.
That is where Keyword Questions comes in. Type in your keyword, in this case “WordPress“, and see exactly what people want to know.
The screenshot on the right side contains the first 20 search results.
Don’t get confused with the numbers in the right column.
They look low and the explanation Wordtracker gives is weird (number of times the question was searched for in a year), but I have built pages with numbers as low as 10 and I get a decent amount of traffic for them.
After getting the list of the most wanted answers, all you need to do is write a post and give the answer to your visitors.
The important thing when answering these questions is that you need to answer them really thoroughly.
Why? Because you don’t want your bounce rate to be high. It doesn’t look good to Google and people won’t recommend you as a problem solver if you don’t do what they expect – the whole solution.
There is one more great thing about this tool. Answering specific questions is like writing a post for long tail keywords. Long tail keywords can bring a significant amount of traffic from Search engines!
Believe it or not, that is all. I know you are used to me writing 1.500+ words posts but this one is just as simple as this.
You have the link to a great free tool and all you need to do is research some keywords from your niche, see what your target market wants to know and give them what they want.
Extra tip on Keyword Questions use
Sometimes it will be hard to write a post as an answer to a questions, just out of the blue, especially if your readers are not used to those kinds of posts from you.
Solution? Create a FAQ page for your niche.
Write a new post for every question you want to answer. Create a FAQ page and link all the posts from it. Talk about some internal linking!
For more detailed keyword research, I highly recommend Market Samurai.

…and you publish this on a day I publish Content is King My Ass lol
I love your recommendation to write something really thorough, useful and authoritative. So many bloggers stop short of that.
The way you explained it in the video, it doesn’t really collide with my tips
No, it doesnt. I was just being goofy
Why am I not surprised
Hi Brankica, this is a new tool for me. Great find – I may just give it a try
If nothing I am sure you will pull up a few interesting post ideas
Brankica, I am going to have to make you a Blogging Genius.
The keyword questions is brilliant, I have just got about a months worth of content ideas in about 2 minutes, and you can download the questions, brilliant.
SEO blogger has just been added to my arsenal as well.
Thanks
Pete
Glad you liked it.
Those are my thoughts exactly, if you can’t really write a post that would have a question as a title it sure will give you a bunch of ideas for the posts.
Hey, what else do I have to do to become a genius
I’ve used Wordtracker.
I love it! See, why do I need to pay for Market Samurai when I have the awesome Google keyword tool and Wordtracker for free? Hahah. Excellent recommendations! I like how you show us the tool, and then demonstrate to us how we can actually use it the best way. That Q&A post idea would be great for some of the niche sites I have/will have in the future.
I also never considered M. Samurai cause, although Google Keyword is not my favorite, I love Wordtracker. Plus I have the most awesome tool out there, by Site Build It that I would only be throwing money away if I would get the samurai.
I think, although a bit pricey, that the best investment, when it comes to keyword research tools is Wordtracker. Of course, with their free tool, you can pretty much get a great idea of the keyword numbers.
Thanks for the comment, Elise
That is really good Brankica. I reckon I’ll be able to use that on my sex blog
The possibilities for posts are endless, and if you can provide the solutions to a problem that turns out to be a popular post I reckon you may have a winner for that MediaPass site.
I was thinking the same thing
Yeah, and as a bloke I can safely say we always have a problem getting sex, especially once you get married
Hem… I think it can also become a good way to find the blog post ideas. Just insert our blog topic, and then we will find many question to be answered (which means many ideas to write).
Dana, that is exactly what I was saying
Hi Brankica,
This WordTracker tool is just incredible, I wish I knew about it, a year ago. Just write blog posts and answer all those questions and there you’ll rank for those long tail keywords.
Thanks for sharing this.

It is a cool tool, gives you ideas and tells you what your readers need to know. Glad you liked it.
Very Nice Brankicka. I usually just ask readers…from the horses mouth and all ya know, but this is an excellent backup for the times readers don’t feel like talkin’.
I am with ya’ on this one, but I have experienced silence a time or two, so I like to keep an ace up my sleeve from time to time, lol.
Brankica,
Sweet plug-in! I love it because, it’s great for bloggers, but even better for producing content on a business blog around a specific product or service. I started blogging on our swimming pool website blog a few years back, and we always write our content around a specific question asked by the consumer.
But with most keyword tools, you get the keyword but not the exact question. This removes all the guess work. pretty cool!
Glad you like it. You know, even is you have a question asked by a real costumer, you can pull it through that tool, you can come up with a better way of saying it and get extra point for using the right keywords.
FAQ page. So simple, I should have thought of that! But alas, I did not
It’s funny I thought I was on your newsletter but I did not receive it. Stupid Apple Mail must be falling down on the job…
I’m definitely gonna go get my keyword on. Thanks, much (as usual)!
I went to check and I have no one on the list that could be you
Not a similar name or e-mail, unless you signed up with a completely different alias, which is OK with me again, lol.
Yeah, FAQ is a great way to compile important stuff together.
I once found a great question using this tool, for my website and could not fit the page anywhere. Guess where it ended
– FAQ. Got a lot of visitors to it, too!
Well I do sometimes have to go undercover, but not this time
I just (re) signed up so I won’t miss anything in the future!
Just checked, it is there
Thanks
Hi Brankica
Another great post. You manage to surprise us every time. Well done with another really informative post. As I am about to start with some new things for my business; this will be really helpful.
We all like our questions answered and if we can write about those questions before they are even asked; we will be the ‘go to’ person in our niche.
I reckon you are getting there very quickly with these helpful hints you keep coming up with. Way to go Brankica

Thanks for the great comment, Patricia.
I just wish I actually used more of the tools I know of, lol.
I can’t wait to see what are you working on, been so misterious lately, off Twitter, so busy…it is probably something that will shock us all
Don’t get too excited Brankica. Been doing some writing in exchange for techie work being done on my site. Hope to be setting up some affilate stuff so only low key to what you guys are doing lol
Also trying to make my time count. Back blog hopping today and tweeting. Trying to sort the balance so I get my work done to generate sales and still network. I think I am just learning to network more effectively. Being more selective with where I visit too.
Keep rockin’ gal. I really love what you are doing here and learning heaps from you too. Thanks
Thank you so much.
I am with you on that techie stuff. I know how to do a lot of stuff on my own, but it is so annoying sometimes.
I hate when I spend the whole day trying to set soemthing up only to learn I missed a letter in a code
Hi Brankica,
You only missed a letter in a code but me, sometimes I work on one file but upload the other file, you can imagine how I feel like to kick myself.
I am also the fan of Site Build It! Their tools are lot better than M. Samurai. They are worth paying for!
Thank you for sharing Wordtracker ‘s Keyword Questions.
Ha ha, I was once working on two websites and uploaded one’s pages to another. Two things completely unrelated. It was so funny! I was lucky to notice it straight away.
Yes, Site Build It so worth the money that if I would ever give up on the website itself, I would still pay for it to keep the tools.
Brankica!
Ummm, SHHHHH!!
I have been using wordtracker labs keyword question tool for some time now and it is the main way I get highly relevant and targeted content for my niche sites.
Damn you for sharing the secret!
Stop it already
For a small fee I will agree to run my post ideas with you before I publish them, lol
Hi Brankica,
Once again, thanks for a great free tool! It definitely gave me some relevant blog post ideas. Who knew?? Well, apparently, you did;) Thanks for sharing!
I hope to have many more cool tips for you
I had few Squidoo pages but they didn’t have good rating. So, I decided to start a blog. I think it may be a better option. And, to be honest, it’s hard, because I am just a beginner. I think my first blog doesn’t look so bad, but I need to learn so much more.
I just wanted thank you for all these useful articles. I must say, I don’t have books about blogging and I am not visiting other sites about blogging. I really believe this one is the best. Thank you once again.
I will try this tool right away.
Hi Brankica, I’ve been studying an e-book on content writing today and the author said exactly this – use Wordtracker questions for pertinent subject matter and mentioned Wordtracker data is a bit ‘flukey’. Hearing it from you convinces me to use it. Always useful and clear. No wonder your Alexa ranking has gone up to 38,000. Thanks. Julia
PS. Is that the right way to enter keywords in the name field?
I compared Wordtracker tools to SBI tools that proved their worth many times and I trust them 101%. I found Wordtracker tools to be pretty much the same as SBI which shows me they are accurate. I personally trust them more than Google Keywords tool, which I only use occasionally for certain parts of keyword research.
